Does anyone know if I can extend my Thai visa exemption (60 days) in the Trang immigration office?

I don't really want to go up to BKK.

If I can, what do I need for this, and how far in advance can I extend it? thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your Thai visa exemption at the Trang immigration office, though specific requirements may vary by location. Generally, you should apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less remaining on your current visa.

Every province has an immigration office. But the requirements at each office can be different. Here is a list of common requirements but as I said it will vary.

Most offices allow you to apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less left on your existing stay.
