Hi posting for a friend Martina Meneghello as her post is getting refused, thanks for the help...
Dear All can you please help me with my visa situation. I am Italian working in Bangladesh my son (fully expat) goes to school in Phuket I never got a visa based on him studying here always had a no visa required everytime I came. Now I am here on the visa amnesty and would like to apply for an extension of stay based on a foreign child studying here, provided I have the seasoned money in the bank and the school papers and all the rest that is required, is that possible to do in Phuket? I know it can be done in Bangkok. Thanks for the help. His father also expat doesn’t live here as well he stays with his Aunt that has a retirement visa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the possibility of extending their stay in Thailand based on their child studying in Phuket while they are an Italian expat working in Bangladesh. However, a response clarified that applicants must live with their children to qualify for this extension, which is not the case here.

The post disappeared even before i could approve it and it is not refused by any admin or mod for posting. But anyway, lets answer the question:
NO, she can not apply for an Extension of Stay based foreign children going to school. One of the requirements is that the children live with the applicant and as she is living and working in Bangladesh and the child is living with an Aunt, the requirement is not met.
