Hi All,
South African Passport holders ( apologies for the long post)
My daugter is on a Ed visa and I am on a gaurdian visa. We entered Thailand on a 90 day non O visa. I know that we have to get a year extension on this. I would like to know if it is possible to extend this in Phuket town( we live in Chalong) and will we need to exit in order to activate the yearly extension? I will be having my second baby via c section so will be unable to travel should we have to leave and re enter. Would it be best to get a Dr letter and request an extension based on this.
Our 90 day visa is valid until November. When we did our original application I was told to request for a multiple entry yearly extension by Hong Kong Thai Consulate. My daughters school is saying they only grant single entry on the yearly extension. Please could you clairfy this for me.
Thanks so much in advance and hope this all makes sense.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about extending a 90-day Non-O visa for a South African passport holder residing in Thailand on a guardian visa, while dealing with their daughter's education visa. The user asks if the extension can be done in Phuket, if they need to exit the country to activate the extension, and whether a doctor's letter could assist due to an upcoming childbirth. A comment from another user confirms that an extension can be done in Phuket without leaving the country and suggests that the school will provide necessary documents.
