Hi everyone. Hope someone can answer.

I got an ED visa through Duke February this year. Current visa is due for an extension this month but I have been outside of Thailand for 14 days total. I was told that to guarantee extension, I could only go out of the country for 7 business days. Dummy me thought that’s each time, not total.

They said you can be away for 15 days total on your 8th month but my last travel was in September, making it my 7th.

Duke will get back to me tomorrow. Just wondering if someone has been in the same situation but got their visa extended anyway.

Thankssss

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking advice about extending their ED visa, having been outside Thailand for a total of 14 days and believing they misinterpreted the rules about travel during their visa's validity. They mention conflicting advice regarding the allowable days outside the country and are awaiting further clarity from their visa sponsor, Duke.
