Can I extend my 90-day type O visa while in Thailand, or do I need to leave the country for 60 more days?
I am currently a US passport holder in Thailand I arrived on a 90 day type O. Visa, I am wondering, can I extend that while I am in Thailand or do I have to leave and come back in to get 60 more days? It is single entry visa.

The only extension available is the one year extension of stay, unless you’re married to a Thai or have a Thai child and can apply for the 60 days extension visiting Thai family.
