I am looking to apply for 60 day tourist visa and enter thailand by mid of July. So once I am here if I want to extend for another 30 or 60 days will that be possible or should I do a visa run?
If visa run is the solution can I submit the exit ticket to another country instead of submitting a return ticket back home while submitting at thai consulate at my country.
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend a 60-day tourist visa for an additional 30 days while in Thailand. However, if you wish to stay longer than that, a visa run to another country may be necessary. Regarding your exit ticket, it is acceptable to submit a ticket to another destination instead of a return ticket to your home country when applying for the visa.
You don’t need a return ticket for a visa or entry, but you will probably need an exit ticket for you airline to allow you to board and/or possibly to get the initial visa. Doesn’t matter to where, just out of Thailand. Plane, Train or Bus will suffice.
sure. You can get them. One or two probably won’t raise any red flags as they’re used to people hopping around SE Asia. More than that then be prepared for questions.
