Hello I have some questions regarding getting my visa extension.
.1 I can definitely 100% extend a on arrival visa exemption stamp for 30 days?
.2 Do I have to go to the office for the extension on the last day of my visa being valid or can I go before and still enjoy 30 days from my last valid visa day?
I am a German national with German passport.
Thank you for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A German national can extend a visa exemption (and clarify that a visa on arrival is different) for an additional 30 days, provided all necessary documents are presented. Visa extensions can typically be applied for up to 30 days before the current stay expires, with variations across different locations in Thailand. The extension period is added to the end of the current visa validity.
Not 100%, but 99.9% if you have all the necessary documents and have not done anything illegal. Some immigration offices require a TM.30 which you might or might not have depending on where you are currently staying
1: visa exempt and visa on arrival are 2 different things. Visa exemptions can be extended for 30 days.
2: No, most offices let you do an extension 30 days before you current stay expires. Bangkok, CM, and Phuket are 45 days. Pattaya is like 5 days. The 30 days is added to the end of your current stay, not from the day you apply.
