Are vaccinations administered in Thailand accepted by the UK government now? I have been fully vaccinated in Thailand (2x Pfizer) so I don’t have to quarantine when entering the UK right?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, vaccinations administered in Thailand, such as the Pfizer vaccine, are accepted by the UK government. Travelers can acquire a free international vaccine certificate through the Mor Prompt app, which is sufficient for check-in. It's necessary to check the specific requirements on the UK government site, as vaccination recognition can depend on the vaccine brand rather than the administering country. Additionally, travelers should fill out a Location form before returning to the UK.

Any vaccination you have had bring any proof you can like a certificate that will help you and don’t forget you need to fill out a Location form before you fly back to the UK

I flew back in December. The Thai hospital certificate for 2 x Pfizer-BioNTech is fine. 🙂👍

Depends on the Vaccine, not which country it was administered in. Don't know about the UK, but the US doesn't accept Sinovac.

I believe they do now.

One column is vaccines approved by the US. The other column is vaccines approved by the WHO. Only vaccines approved by the US are accepted in the US.

@Garrett **********
actually, both columns are accepted vaccinations. The first is vaccines explicitly accepted by the CDC. The second are vaccines accepted by WHO, and because of that those are also accepted by the US implicitly.

Cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html#covid-vaccines.

@Caroline *******
Did you read what that says?
Caroline ********
This article also mentioned the vaccines that have been approved by WHO, which include Sinovac.

It's all very confusing and I don't think officials from any side know the exact answer...
George *************
@Caroline *******
you are correct. The US, in fact, accepts the WHO accepted vaccines as well as the CDC accepted vaccines.

Am I reading it wrong then? To me, it shows two groups of vaccines under the main heading "Accepted Covid-19 vaccines".

Instead of being embarrassed, he is proudly saying that he is fully vaccinated. You will never be fully vaccinated

I know that there is no turning back point for you, so you have to defend your embarrassing agenda.

@Ivan **********
he's asking a valid question. Why on earth would or should he be embarrassed?
Ivan ***********
@Lynnette ******
Because he is "so smart", like you.

@Ivan **********
you're just embarrassing yourself making silly comments. He's asking about rules in uk.
Ivan ***********
@Lynnette ******
I am just talking about the facts related to proudly "fully vaccinated" people. The rules in UK, at the UK Government website.

Ivan Shirjanov. Two jabs in Thailand is fully vaccinated.

@Ivan **********
why are you triggered by someone saying they are thai vaccinated and want to know if its accepted in uk. Or if people are honest enough to say they are vaccinated? If it bothers you so much move on and do something else.

he posts this anti vaccine crap on every single covid related post. Just ignore him, he is a condescending troll

Yes, you can get a free international vaccine certificate on Mor Prompt app and that is fine for check-in.
