Can I use my approved Non-B e-Visa after entering Thailand on a visa exempt stamp?

I applied for a Non-B through the e-visa site when I was still in Canada, after a few weeks without a response, I left for Thailand and entered on a visa exempt stamp. If the e-visa gets approved while I am in Thailand, can I still use it by doing a border bounce (or fly out/in)? I already reached out to the embassy and consulate in Canada with no response.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can use your approved Non-B e-Visa while in Thailand. After it gets approved, you print the PDF confirmation received via email, which serves as your visa instead of a sticker. To activate it, you must exit and re-enter Thailand (a border bounce) and present the printed PDF at the immigration checkpoint. Remember, the e-Visa is valid for entry for three months from its issuance date.

How did you apply for a Non-Immigrant B e-visa from Canada? You had all the many required documents from your job, and you provided these to them electronically? I know it's possible to provide physical documents at embassy in Canada, but not electronic documents for a "Non-Immigrant B evisa."

If the specific consulate you applied through (I believe Canada has multiple) has a Facebook page, message them directly on there. They tend to reply better through Facebook than other methods.

But try to include all relevant information in a single message. Your name, situation of when you applied and how long you've been waiting, your passport number, application number, etc. They don't want to have a conversation with you, so don't turn it into one. Just give them all the details and ask for status.

Normally, people managing Facebook pages aren't immigration officers. More responsive, but they'll probably need to hand your message over to an IO.

There are only TWO consulates in Canada that participate in the eVisa program; Ottawa and Vancouver

totally CAN use that eVisa if it's approved after you're here. You print out the PDF file they send you when they say you're approved <- that IS your visa (there is no sticker) and then you would exit/re-enter the country (by air or land) present that PDF and you'll get stamped in on the Non-B visa for 90 days

Remember that eVisa is valid for entry to thailand for 3 months from the date it's issued.
