TLDR : Answer Summary
It is possible to enter and exit Singapore on the same day to obtain a new entry stamp for a Thai visa. However, while Singapore immigration allows this, Thai immigration may review your travel history before granting re-entry. It's important to note that this method does not extend your existing visa but instead provides a new 180-day entry stamp.

You aren't extending anything 🙁 you extend your visa/entry stamp INSIDE thailand at the immigration office

All you're doing is exiting/re-entering to get a completely NEW 180 day entry stamp

Singapore won't care if you enter/exit and as long as you present your DTV visa w/your passport when you fly back in you should have no issue stamping back in on a new 180 day entry stamp

Singapore immigration will not stop you from entering and leaving the same day…..but Thai immigration might look at your travel history before granting you entry.
