Can I do my 90 days anywhere in Thailand as my wife and I are on a road trip around the country?
Edit: I do have yellow book and pink card with me.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting for expats in Thailand must be done at the immigration office related to the latest TM.30 report. While traveling, you can only complete the report at your registered location. Booking a hotel can provide you with a TM.30 form for reporting, but otherwise, late reporting may incur a fine.
I just had my first online rejection and the IO tried to collect money even though I went in and I was past the 7 day mark. They just want to collect money.
I think you're mixed up on how it actually works ๐
Just because you applied online to file a 90 day report if it's rejected you still have to go in before the "window of opportunity" runs out (no more than 7 days late)
If you're rejected applying online doesn't count for anything ๐ฎ and you'd still get the 2000baht fine if you went in person more than 7 days after the actual due date

As you're travelling in a camper van the only way to do the 90 day report at your location, is to book into a hotel for 1 night and get a copy of the TM30 they should file. Other than that, just report late when you get back home and take the 2000 baht fine.
beware that only a few hotels actually bother to file the โข 30. You could just ignore the remaining 90 day reports and pay เธฟ2,000 at your next yearly extension. If you are leaving the company before then youโll probably escape the fine anyway.
The yellow house book and/or pink ID card have no bearing on your 90-day report. The immigration office where you submit your 90-day report is the one to which you submit your latest TM.30.
it means you slog on over to what ever immigration office you're near when the 90 day report comes due and you ask them IF you can report there and how you do it living in a camper van.
You might have to actually check into a hotel that shows you're registered as staying in that province so you can use that immigration office
BUT
I'd get ready to be told NO you can't file a 90 day report at any office but the one where you got your extension
AND
then just resign myself to the fact that once I did get back to my province where you actually live you just are going to get a 2000baht fine for failure to file a 90 day report on time
That last scenario, where no place will let you file a 90 day report and you file a late one once you're back home happens quite a lot ๐
