TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM47 90-day report can be tedious, but many expats choose to ignore it and pay a fine when extending their visa instead. You can indeed skip submitting the report every 90 days and face a fine when necessary, which some report can be as high as 6000 baht if ignored completely. For setting reminders, using your phone or email is highly recommended; various users suggest utilizing calendar apps or setting up scheduled emails to ensure you don't miss the deadline. Some have mentioned that a notification is also sent via email 14 days prior to the due date.

I just do a schedule send email to myself as a remindrr

If you ignore it you are looking at a 5000 baht fine, plus 200 baht a day from the due date until you file it. So if you never do it, you could be looking at a 60k baht fine

Yeah that is a senseless regulation.

90 day report is a very small inconvenience for living in Paradise. Not a problem for me at all. But some people will complain about anything.

have you ever seen someone complain about it ?

Do it online, it takes a couple of minutes and you get an email reminder 14 days before your next one is due.

You can send me the money you save on fines if you want to give your money away 🤣

I used to do it 5 times a year. Every 10 weeks, it took me under 1 minute on my phone when I was on the throne. It's not rocket science. Username , password, passport number and nationality. Tick, tick scroll submit.

Why is it that so many visitors to this Country want to change the rules to suit themselves? This report has been required for years and now you can do it line. Still there is somebody whining about a 5 minute loss of time?

No issue , set reminder on phone and takes 5 mins on line it’s not going away they should have a similar system in UK round up all the illegals
