TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is considering canceling their Non-B Visa due to issues with their employer and wants to apply for a Tourist Visa instead. They are concerned that Immigration might question their change from a Non-B Visa to a Tourist Visa. Community members suggest that it's usually not necessary to cancel the Non-B Visa if it is used to enter Thailand before its expiration, and that visas typically cannot be canceled as a common practice.
my non b visa states that I am officially hired. but my employer revoked my contract. so If I want to travel in Thailand as tourist eventho my non b visa is not yet expire, will there be any problem with the immigration?
You're non b visa is just an intent of your employer that they want to officially hired you. But you are not yet employed because you do not have work permit yet. Besides, you don't need a tourist visa. The immigration will give you 60-day visa exemption.
