Remember a single entry tourist visa is valid for 90 days <-meaning you have that long to enter thailand and get stamped in for 60 days like people do on tourist visas ;)

It depends if you already did border runs. You can enter twice a calendar year using the Visa Exempt Entry.

Then IF you were denied the tourist visa from the consulate you could get into the country on a 30 day visa exempt entry by land.

ORIGINAL POSTERNo border runs yet, I only arrived in June with the Thai letter in my visa saying that I need to return to SA to change my visa.
