TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it's possible to do a back to back border run to Mae Sai. Participants in the discussion mention that you can make a border run followed by a 30-day extension at Immigration, allowing for multiple extensions if timed correctly. However, there are limits on how many border runs can be conducted without issues, particularly concerning the number of entries allowed within a specific timeframe.

yes OP can do back to back, means run 1, plus 30 days at Immigration, than run 2 with another 30 days extension from Immigration. If times correctly, near year end you can do even 4 border run in a row, plus each time a 30 days extension.

You can apply for an 30 day Extension of Stay at your local Immigration Office, cost 1.900 Thb. Visa Exempt Entry 30 days, Extension 30 days then new visa exempt entry 30 days, extension 30 days. Give you more time to spent in Thailand then 30 days do border run for 30 days.
