I need some advice. I arrived in Phuket on October 1st last year. I’ve had 2 extensions of 30 days and 2 border runs. Can I get another extension or do I need to leave Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has been in Thailand for 240 days on a visa exemption, having used 2 extensions and completed 2 border runs. Although some comments suggest that another extension could be attempted, there are concerns about the risk of being denied re-entry due to the length of stay and the immigration officer's discretion. It may be advisable to leave Thailand and apply for a long-term visa instead.

Probably best to leave and come back with the correct long term visa, only a matter of time before you get stopped and refused entry, for gaming the system.

So you have been in Thailand 240 days on visa exempt. That is not the actions of a tourist. Also that will be the reason they will cancel the 60 day visa exempt.

You have far more chance of getting your extension than leaving and trying to re-enter Visa Exempt again (without using a border run agent)

Each entry is eligible for a 30-day extension.

Nobody knows. It depends on the immigration officer and many other factors. But if it was a visa exemption and you were abroad for only a short time, there's a chance you might not be allowed to enter.
