I am going to cancel my non-b visa this week but my 90 day is due on March 25th! Also, I don't know where my receipt from my last 90 day is.

If I cancel before filing my next 90 day - do you think I will be able to avoid the 2000 thb fee? they are not happy I do not have the slip and thus think I'm late even though I am early so they want to collect.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to cancel their Non-B visa but is concerned about the upcoming 90-day report due on March 25. They are unsure of the consequences of canceling their visa before filing the report, particularly regarding the 2000 THB fee usually imposed for late reporting, especially since they have lost their last receipt. Commenters clarify that canceling the visa means they won't need to file the report, as the 90-day reporting is generally free, and the fee is only applicable for late submissions. However, it remains the user's responsibility to keep the necessary documentation.

who is not happy? Immigration officers have the ability to look in the system and see when your last 90 day report was filed BUT it IS your responsibility to keep that receipt in your passport AND the immigration office is free to make you go get a police report stating you lost it, send you out to the 90 day reporting office and get proof you aren't late.

BTW, 2,000thb is not the fee. 90days report is free. 2,000thb is the fine when you report late.

If you cancel your extension and leave Thailand, you don't have to worry about 90days report.
