Do I Need to Complete 90-Day Reporting Before Canceling My Visa in Thailand?

Hi!

I'm gonna be cancelling my visa soon cause I'll be leaving the country. I was due to do my 90 days last month but delayed cause of the extension.

Can anyone please tell me, do I have to do my 90 days reporting first, and then cancel my visa? Or can I cancel it without doing the 90 days?

And is the visa cancellation also done in Muong Thon Thani? Or do I need to go to CW for that?

Thanks in advance :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they must complete their 90-day reporting before canceling their visa upon leaving Thailand and whether the cancellation needs to be done in Muang Thon Thani or at Chaengwattana.

you go to Chaengwattana to cancel a Non-B EXTENSION OF STAY, if you're on a Non-B VISA you don't cancel anything you just leave.

well, the new amnesty states IF you didn't do a scheduled 90 day report that you have from Aug 1st to Aug 31st to file one. I'd say you're out nothing by going to the MTT location and filing a 90 day report THEN going to C/W and cancelling the Non-B extension..

The last thing you wanna do is queue up, wait your turn to cancel your extension and then find out you needed to file the 90 day report first :O I'd just go do it then go cancel the extension
