Hi guys, I'm currently in Chiang Mai and my STV visa is on it's last extension. I am aware that this visa is unable to be changed into any other type of visa while in the country. I was hoping others in this group who are on this visa could shed some light on this, are we still able to get the emergency 60 day extension as per the emergency decree once my visa expires? Thanks

Answer summary

The user is currently in Chiang Mai with an STV visa nearing its last extension and is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining an emergency 60-day extension as per the emergency decree after their visa expires. Comments indicate that while they believe they cannot change their visa type within the country, it is possible to secure an elite visa or a COVID-specific extension if needed.
