Hi guys, Im new here, Visa advice needed: Iโ€™m from Bali, Indonesia & frequent visitor to Thailand for years. If I want to move to Bangkok, Can I first apply for Tourist visa (up for 3months I think) & then try to get a Job there, & if lucky, change into Working visa there?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process of moving from Bali, Indonesia to Bangkok, Thailand, specifically asking if they can first obtain a tourist visa and then transition to a working visa. Comments clarify that a tourist visa allows a stay of 60 days, which can be extended by 30 days. Additionally, it is noted that as an ASEAN country, no visa is required for entry into Thailand. Finally, while it's possible to convert a tourist visa to a working visa within Thailand, companies typically prefer to handle this process through the embassy in the worker's home country.

Tourist visa, 2 bulan + 1 bulan perpanjangan. Correct

Kalo dapet kerja, convert dari Tourist Visa ke Non-B Visa sebenernya bisa di dalam Thailand TAPI biasa perusahaan2 sini minta nya buat di embassy tempat negara asal

You need to find an employer to provide you with the documentation required byt to get a Non-B Visa the documentation you will be given will probably mean leaving Thailand to apply at a nearby Embassy/Consulate.
