I’m Chinese and my husband is from Benin (West Africa). We are currently living in Benin. We want to apply for a Thai visa but there is no Thailand embassy in the country. Can we fly to Malaysia first and then apply for a Thai visa there in the Thai consulate in Malaysia?

Looking for any possible visa options!

Thai embassy is located in Abuja Nigeria,It's served all the West Africa countries,You can apply there,I guess it's very close to Benin okay thanks

可以尝试在中国的泰国大使馆申请，申请之前先发邮件询问你的情况是否可以办理，说明当地没有泰国大使馆，你是中国人，你和你老公是合法夫妻之类的，通常情况他们会同意申请。我不能完全确定，但是他们比较人性化

evisa 電子簽證要人在國內才可以，所以很多中國人都去柬埔寨 visa run了

那肯定是可以的，您的護照為CN 但是residency 在 IT 是可以申請的啊。申請的不是中國的evisa . 他是global 的批准方也是🇮🇹

申請evisa 都會問你residency 在哪裡 .

可是我在泰国驻中国大使馆的线上申请的，和意大利一点关系也没有，批准方也是中国，因为当时意大利的泰国使馆是关闭的

You’d better contact embassy or consulate directly before you go there,

as many country they request Residency Permit for apply TH tourist visa there

I don’t know the exact answer but my guess would be not.

A number of the nearby (to Thailand) embassies won’t process African passports. Probably best to find the closest embassy to you now and apply there.

Perhaps others with direct experience may be able to confirm or deny this.
