What are the visa options for a Zimbabwean looking to travel to Thailand without a residence permit?
Hello can you help. I am from Zimbabwe and looking for a visa to thailand(tourist or work or study). I can get free visa to Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. I will not have a residence permit to apply at the Thai embassy. Anyone have any advice what I can do? Thank you

If you're not resident in the country you are going to apply from you will need to wait at least 4 weeks to receive a tourist visa. Any other visa complicates things further

from what I can see on the Vientiane embassy website there is no special requirements for passport holders of ZimbabweSomsak ******

Go Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur embassy. But you have to wait up to 4 weeks

Tried getting it done in Kuala Lumpur, but they said it would take 4 weeks , So I headed to Jakarta and got it in just 1 week since I reside in indonesiaSomsak ******

Are you sure you need a residency certificate to apply at the Embassy/Consulates in these countries, is that what their websites say?

I just tried in china they need it and in these countries some of the websites require others don’t. Have you done this process before?Graham ******
