TLDR : Answer Summary
A Zimbabwean seeking a visa to Thailand is inquiring about options for obtaining a tourist, work, or study visa without a residence permit. Comments suggest checking the requirement of a residency certificate for visa applications at Thai embassies in nearby countries and highlight the extended processing time of up to 4 weeks for tourist visas if not applying from a country of residence.

If you're not resident in the country you are going to apply from you will need to wait at least 4 weeks to receive a tourist visa. Any other visa complicates things further

Are you sure you need a residency certificate to apply at the Embassy/Consulates in these countries, is that what their websites say?
