TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can visit immigration for a stay permit on November 4th after their 30-day visa exemption expires on November 3rd, considering that the 2nd and 3rd are weekends. Several commenters suggest going early to avoid last-minute issues, as applying before the expiration allows the 30-day extension to be added without losing time. They note that it is common to receive an overstay stamp but that the fine can be waived due to holidays.

why don't you go this week to get the 30 day extension?

My advice, go early.

there is no down side to going early because they ADD the 30 day extension on to your current expiration date. :O Meaning you don't lose any time applying BEFORE your stamp runs down.

You will get an overstay stamp in your passport but you will also get a stamp that says overstay fine waived due to holiday and then you can get your extension dated from the date your old stamp expires
