I'm on visa exemption and my last day is May 9. I completely forgot so I went to immigration today to get 30 day extension but it's the holiday and they're back on May 13.

Can I come back on May 13 (Monday) to get 30 day extension and pay the fine?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is on a visa exemption that expires on May 9 and forgot to apply for a 30-day extension before a holiday. They are asking if they can return to immigration on May 13 to secure their extension while paying any fines for their overstay. Comments indicate that a fine may be required for the days overstayed, but there are different opinions on whether a fine is necessary due to the holiday.

Never leave an extension to late in your stay as the days are added to your current exit stamp date

Yes, you can. You will pay a fine for 4 days. An extension would include overstaying days, not starting on the application day.

Be ready and go early. Immigration offices are usually jammed after the long holidays.
