TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a Soft Power visa at the same embassy even after a Workcation visa rejection, provided you address the reasons for the initial rejection. Each application is assessed individually, but prior refusals are noted. It's essential to ensure that your Soft Power application fulfills all requirements and documentation to minimize risk.

Yes, you can apply again at the same embassy under Soft Power, but only if you clearly fix the reason you were rejected under Workcation. Each application is assessed separately, but embassies will see your previous refusal. If the documents and eligibility are genuinely different this time, it’s not automatically risky β€” just make sure the Soft Power documents are solid and clearly meet the requirements.

well there's no way to know why they rejected as they won't tell, I did meet all requirements and even ISSA compass agency approved it and submitted all documents. So go figure why they rejected me 🀷

They asked me for proof I'm still staying in Hanoi I guess so I uploaded a photo of my passport with cafe receipt from same date. I hold an Israeli passport.

I have a friend with the same passport approved in december so I don't think so πŸ™‚ also if they wanted to reject me based on passport it wouldn't have taken 9 processing days πŸ‘
