Hi. Had anyone here apply for a soft power DTV with dependents? Spouse and children? Wondering if it could work or if I’d have to pay for all separately. Thanks.
Answer summary
When applying for a soft power DTV visa in Thailand, you can submit your dependents' applications (spouse and children) simultaneously with your own. Each applicant typically needs to meet the visa requirements individually, and it's common that all involved have to pay the visa fees separately. There may be exceptions, especially for children, where a sponsorship letter can sometimes suffice instead of showing individual funds.

All apply for their own visa and all need to meet the requirements.
You apply for the main DTV, then when that is received you can apply for dependants (spouse/children) at the same time.
I am a dependant on my husbands Muay Thai DTV (our children are on education visas).
Its embassy dependant as to if you need funds for each person - generally yes for adults, sometimes a sponsorship letter is sufficient for children in particular depending on age of children.
