Can I Apply for a Retirement Visa in Australia or Elsewhere?

I see from another post you have a German passport, so if you are looking at an OA visa, you would apply from the embassy or a consulate in Germany. But if you have dual nationality with Australia, then you can apply in Australia. You need to show funds in a bank account in whichever country you are applying, so it would then depend on where you stash your cash

first off how about we find out if you hold an Aussie passport, are over 50, and can meet the proof of funds requirement.

Also I think it's important YOU understand what things people commonly call a retirement visa..
