Can I apply for a re-entry permit on the same day as my visa extension at immigration?

After you got the Extension of Stay, yo can apply for the Re-Entry permit.

You can, but I'd advise arriving early. Need to be done by 3:15 to give you time to get re-entry done. Get the form filled out, make sure you got a photo, and check what they need ie signed copy of passport.

Yes, as soon as the Extension is stamped in your passport you can apply for the re-entry permit.
