TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a 3-month NON-O visa in Thailand and is seeking guidance on extending it to a 12-month stay. They have a Thai bank account with 800,000 THB. The comments clarify that to use monthly deposits of 65,000 THB for the extension, one must have had these deposits for 12 months prior to applying for the extension.

You cannot use the monthly deposits of 65,000 Thai baht or more in your Thai bank account for the first year of the one year extension....UNLESS you ALREADY have had 12 months of those 65,000 Thai baht deposits for the 12 months prior to your applying for the One year extension as retired.

If you’ve been depositing ฿65K for a year and also had ฿800K in the Thai bank, can you simply continue with both and then choose a month to switch to the monthly deposits (with the ฿800K kept in the bank), allowing you to choose the yearly renewal month?

ask your Thai Immigration office for their requirements for the one year Extension as RETIRED.

Your stamp is for one full year. You cannot pick and choose your desired month to extend.

You would have to go out and re-enter Thailand without a re-entry permit to break your current 12 months extension cycle.

In other words, start all over.
