Hi everyone.

I am in France right now witch a french passport and was planning to get my non b from the Paris embassy.

I cannot make the dates that they propose me, which mean that im going to get my flight on the 13th of december with no visa.

my questions are :

- Is it possible to apply directly in Thailand as i read here a couple days ago ( had anyone done it recently? and where?)

-As i am arriving to Bangkok, which is the easiest place to get my non b flying out of bangkok ?

-Am i going to have any issue entering thailand on a visa exemption tho i have a work permit and an old non b in my passport ?

Thank you for your time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is in France with a French passport, planning to fly to Thailand without a Non-B visa due to scheduling conflicts at the Paris embassy. They inquire about applying for the visa directly in Thailand, the easiest way to obtain it after arriving in Bangkok, and any potential issues with entering Thailand on a visa exemption given their previous Non-B visa and current work permit. Responses suggest that it is possible to apply for a Non-B visa within Thailand, but they must ensure they meet specific requirements related to their employer and have the necessary entry stamp.

IN Bangkok you need 15 days or more on your entry stamp (either a 30 day visa exempt or a 60 day tourist visa) to apply for a 90 day Non-B visa inside the country.

You need to ask your employer IF they meet the requirements to get a Non-B inside the country (the documentation is more stringent than going to a thai consulate).

If they can't do it in country they'll send you to a thai consulate in a nearby country to get one. Your employer should be the one recommending where you should go; Vientiane, Penang, etc.
