Hi everyone! 😊

I’ve been living in Bangkok since February and I’m currently on an ED visa for Thai language studies, which expires on December 22.

I’d love to apply for a new ED visa, ideally for Muay Thai, without having to leave Thailand.

Does anyone has been through a similar situation?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

You’ll have to explore alternative visas as usually ED visa is for one time. Check the Thai embassy website in your home country for visa options.

You will not be able to do another Ed Visa without leaving.

You're currently already on an education extension. Once that's done you cannot do anything except leave Thailand. You cannot convert to an ED visa because you're already on ED status. Converting is something you do from a tourist stay.
