TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether a standard 6-month gym membership is sufficient for applying for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand. Most comments suggest that a typical gym membership is unlikely to qualify since the DTV visa aims to promote activities that showcase Thailand's unique cultural aspects, such as Muay Thai training. Participants in the conversation express doubt about the feasibility of using a gym membership that is not specific to Thai culture.

Highly unlikely, choose a DTV approval experienced Muay Thai training center that has a gym and just use that part of their facility if the gym allows.

next timez be more useful and more creative I'm your answers... But your response shows just how short-minded you are, so I don't think you capable of it

Anonymous participant Nope it shows you are dumb and cannot read and process with brain. Did you even try to search for a success story? Feel free to go and apply but don't come back crying that you were rejected that you did not have what is mentioned in published requirements

I doubt it. The idea is to attract longer term stays in areas Thailand believe it has soft power in. General gym membership is not that. Give it a go and report back
Anonymous ******************
I can't see it. Soft power is aimed at something uniquely Thai which can be studied or carried out more beneficially in Thailand. A gym membership is the same all around the world

Participant anonyme 778 yes I think so too but as the officials texts are very vague, I say why not ? the approval depends of the immigration officer you are dealing with, so some may approve. šŸ¤·šŸ»

Anonymous participant Immigration officers have nothing to do with DTV applications. These are processed by MFA staff at embassies and consulates around the world. You can try your luck, but keep in mind if your application is rejected you lose 10,000+ baht with your application fee

Anonieme deelnemer 778 exactly this!

Give it a try is what Iā€™d say, see what they come back with. Share with the group so as to help others.

Pure stupid question

Oh yeah and how you explain the medical program Huh? Is a medical program specific to Thailand ? Does Thai doctors apply a specific type of treatment that cannot be applied anywhere else ?How a so-called-know-everything smartass than you can answer that ?

why in every post there has to be always a dumbass who posts purely petty comments... šŸ¤·šŸ» At least I consider all the alternatives.

Anonymous participant I give you another stupid question example: "How strict are they with bank balance requirements. I have less" Is a REQUIREMENT. Beside you cannot search.
Luit *****************
Anonieme deelnemer Consider alternatives is a good thing, but where do you see a link to Thai culture in a gym class?

I also don't think you qualify for DTV when you take Thai driving lessons, allthough you could consider the Thai driving style as Thai culture perhaps...

Not possible
