Can I apply for a DTV visa while on a tourist visa in Thailand, or do I need to return to my home country?
Hello, I’m in Thailand on a tourist visa and I wish to apply for a DTV. Do I must return back to my home country to be able to apply ? Can I apply whist I’m in Thailand ?

You need to go to the website of the thai consulate you're thinking of applying at and READ THE PROCESSING TIME
All the consulates have eVisa processing time posted, so pick a consulate, go to their website and read how long that consulate is taking to process eVisas 🙂

if you are truly a remote worker you can continue to work in whatever country you travel to in order to apply for the DTV

You are supposed to wait in the country until you are approved. However, you seem hell bent on bending the rules, so do whatever you want, and hopefully when you flit back to Thailand because you can't wait, they will ask for more details and then deny your visa because they will tell that you have left the country!Lloyd ********
You can apply in any country of your choice APART from Thailand.

Not exactly. Some countries require you to be a resident of that country to apply. Not every country allows you to apply as a tourist.Lloyd ********
