I applied for a 60 day covid extension at Samut Prakan immigration but was only given a 30 day extension that ends on December 8th. Is it possible to get a 60 day covid extension on the 26th of November?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a 60-day COVID extension at Samut Prakan but received only a 30-day extension. They inquired whether it's possible to apply for the 60-day COVID extension again on November 26. Respondents suggested checking the visa stamp and noted that if the user entered on a 60-day tourist visa, they should apply at Chaeng Wattana rather than Samut Prakan, as it may be more favorable.
ahhh, that makes sense, you hadn't gotten the "regular" 30 day tourist visa extension you can get from it so they sold that to you instead. (y) Go around the 26th of Nov and apply for a 60 day covid extension
I sure wouldn't use the Samut Prakan Immigration office (even if it means getting a hotel in bangkok one night so you can use Chaengwattana) That samut prakan office is hard core on covid extensions and I'd rather have a tooth pulled than go there to get a covid extension.
I entered on a 60 day tourist visa. It says 'extension of stay permitted up to 8 December holder must leave the kingdom before the date specified therein. Offenders will be prosecuted'.
you received a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism, Vaud until December 8th. You *may* be able to apply for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. Expect to be asked why you can not return home.
