TLDR : Answer Summary
Danish citizens cannot enter Cambodia without a visa even for a short stay. They can obtain a tourist visa, which is available for 30 days and can be applied for online or obtained upon arrival at a cost of around $35. Recommendations suggest that getting the visa at the border is straightforward, and it's advised to arrive in the afternoon to avoid long queues. Additionally, some participants noted varying costs for the visa, emphasizing the importance of paying in USD.

- online visa easy and saves any 'issues' at border. I do all the time. You will need to print off 2 copies.

A little advice is to get to the border in the afternoon as the queue will be short when no more busses to Phnom Phen that day.

It's visa on arrival for them and it's very easy to get at the land border as well as at the airport.

No, don't worry. I've been to Cambodia and they offer visa on arrival facility to Indians as well and it was really very easy to get it. He just needs to pay $35.

You need a visa. The only passports that allow for visa free entry are:

Thailand

Brunei

Myanmar

Philippines

Indonesia

Laos

Malaysia

Singapore

Vietnam

You can apply for a 30 day tourist visa online or get it on arrival and extend it for an additional 30 once you are in the country.

I understand your question. I've done that trip to Aranyaprathet/Poipet before and it would be the same for someone with a Danish passport as it was for me. Apply online for the E-visa before you go, getting it at the border will be more hassle.
