Hello! Is there any successful case of applying DTV visa from ED visa? My current visa is ED visa. But I am planning to apply DTV visa soon. I am just wondering having recent history of ED visa might affect approval of DTV visa. I am going to apply as a freelancer. Please share your experiences if you have similar case. Thanks in advance!

Had ED for 14 m9ntha and right after expiration we went to Hanoi and got DTV

It's fine but if you're on an extension of stay cancel it before leaving Thailand with paperwork from your school

I had 3 consecutive ED visas before applying for a DTV. An ED visa is a legitimate visa if you were a student that went to a real school/gym and attended your classes. There were some illegitimate ED visas and some illegitimate schools. That doesn’t mean every person with an ED visa is banned from all other visas in the future.
Even someone with a recent history of repeated border runs on visa exemptions can get approved for a DTV. Immigration wants you to be on the proper visa for your current situation. If the DTV fits your situation, you will be approved.
