Is it possible to apply for DTV as a YouTuber? Since I've already quit my regular job, I'd like to know if it's possible to apply if I'm earning income only as a content creator on platforms like YouTube and Facebook.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is possible to apply for a DTV visa as a YouTuber. Several individuals in similar situations have successfully received DTV visas. It's important to declare your income properly, as it is considered income whether you earn it through YouTube or another medium. Some suggest alternative options like enrolling in a Muay Thai course, which may facilitate the visa process without stringent income checks. However, bear in mind that creating videos in Thailand might have restrictions.
I don't really understand how this wouldn't be possible. If you get money through any platform it is declared as income, either as an employee or through a separate entity (your own company, someone elses company, sole proprietorship). At the end of the day there is virtually no difference between having Youtube pay you or another customer pay you. All you need are the same documents everyone else needs

Or just go the Muay Thai route. No checking of your income. Just show you have paid for the course, and pay the visa application fee. You can then create whatever content you want ππ.
Does the actual visa state what we got the vida for? So, imagine someone got the DTV for Muay Thai, but they worked while in Thailand? Would that be ok, do you think?
. You can do whatever you want once you have the visa. The visa doesn't state under which category that you applied, so you are free to do whatever you want. As long as you are aware that you must not work for a Thai company/business, then this visa gives the holder a lot of freedom and flexibility.
Rex Zhao Not sure on that, gambling is very limited in Thailand and many do not like it as it is against Buddhist principles although the lottery is popular. You can email the embassy and ask if it is ok.
