I'm from Taiwan and Taiwan passport is not entitled for visa exemption or waiver of Thailand. I need to apply for 60 days tourist visa in Taiwan for travelling to Thailand. Therefore, is it correct that I can't do boarder bounce and must leave Thailand and then get tourist visa to enter Thailand again ? Moreover, instead of returning to Taiwan, which nearby country's embassy can issue tourist visa for Taiwan passport ? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user from Taiwan needs to apply for a 60-day tourist visa to enter Thailand, as their passport does not allow for visa exemption. They ask if they must leave Thailand to obtain this visa and whether they can apply at a nearby country's embassy instead of returning home. Comments clarify that Taiwan passport holders can get a Visa on Arrival for 30 days, but only from certain locations, and that there is uncertainty regarding the ability to conduct a border bounce to neighboring countries. It's advised to consult the Thai Embassy for more accurate visa guidance.

Taiwan passport holders can get a VOA Visa on Arrival for 30 days stamp on arrival into Thailand. NO EXTENSIONS are allowed.

Or contact the Thai Embassy in your home country about getting a Thai tourist visa for entry into Thailand.

If you are planning to stay longer in Thailand, suggest you ask your Thai Embassy in Taiwan about what Thai Visas you may be able to apply for.

There is NO assurance that you can do a BORDER BOUNCE to neighbor SE Asian countries.

ASK an experienced border run service company in the area where you will be in Thailand...IF they can successfully take you on a BORDER BOUNCE to Laos or possibly Cambodia.

VOA visa only for 30 days and no extension. I'll prefer to apply for tourist visa in Taiwan so that I can stay totally 90 days (include 30 days extension) for the first time. I want to know that if I really want to enter Thailand again for another 90 days by tourist visa(not boarder bounce), where can I apply for the tourist visa ? Thanks

We wish you success in your visit to Thailand...

Follow my advice...

I believe you will have your answers.

Right now it looks like either Vientienne or Savannakhet Laos are Best to get a Thai tourist visa...

IF the experienced border visa run service company takes you. ASK them.

They will know what you need to do and IF you can get a NEW Thai tourist visa.

ask an experienced border run service company in the area where you will be living if they will take you to either apply for another Thai Tourist Visa or do a BORDER BOUNCE to get ADDED days to stay in Thailand
