Hi there can you please clarify the following for me.
I'm planning on moving to thailand next year. I would like to know:
Having the non-immigrant B visa ( teaching), in holidays would I be able to fly back home to south africa. Or is the non-immigrant B visa only a single entry visa? What would I need to get to be able to fly home and return to thailand, and can i apply for it in thailand?
Would one also suggest that it's better to buy a return ticket as well, or is it ok to fly in on a one way ticket? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-Immigrant B Visa for teaching does allow for multiple entries, as long as you obtain the necessary re-entry permit before leaving Thailand. You can apply for the re-entry permit at airports in Thailand, making it simple to travel back home and return. It's generally recommended to buy a return ticket, but traveling on a one-way ticket is also acceptable.
The easiest way is to get all the papers from your Employer and before you move to Thailand apply in South Africa for the 1 year Non Immigrant B visa. Than you can go in and out Thailand during that year as much as you like and get on every entry 90 days Admitted to Stay.
If you get the Non Immigrant B visa inside Thailand, this really depends on your Employer, it will be a 90 day Visa. After 60 days you can apply for an Extension of Stay and apply for a multiple re-entry permit. This Extension of Stay and re-entry permit are valid for 1 year and you can go out and come back during this year and on every entry you get the same date as the Extension of Stay end date.
Perfect thank you so much. I appreciate you reply. If i were to only find a job well in thailand and receive the non immigrant B in thailand. Would i still be allowed in and out as much as o wish within that year?
