Quick question - a friend of mine has had 2 ED visas back to back - one language, one muay thai. Is there any restriction on getting a 3rd? His language school told him it's not possible........ Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
There is no explicit restriction on obtaining a third ED visa in Thailand after having two previous ones for different courses, as long as the education provider is MOE certified and provides the necessary paperwork. However, students cannot enroll in the same course consecutively. Ultimately, approval may depend on the discretion of the consulate officer.

I just went to Laos. My friend got his third education visa there.

He should be ok...but then again it’s up to the consulate officer to determine that

Nope, there is no restriction that I know of. As long as the school is MOE certified and they give the student the paperwork to go get an ED visa from a thai consulate.

Off topic I know and I apologise but I’ve seen you and Tod both write “AFAIK” what does that mean?
