Are there any issues with re-entering Thailand through DMK after my third 60-day tourist visa from Penang?

About to do a 6o-day tourist visa out of Penang and booking a flight back to Chiang Mai. Any issues coming through DMK with what will be my third 60-day tourist visa? I was told that KL is better for not getting hassled but the flight times aren't great. Any info is appreciated! Thank you! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling back to Thailand after a third 60-day tourist visa, it's largely a matter of luck regarding how you'll be treated at passport control. Some travelers recommend having 20K baht or equivalent in cash and proof of onward travel ready, as this may help alleviate any concerns from immigration about your frequent tourist visas.

it's down to luck of the draw on whether you're going to be hassled by passport control because you have too many tourist visas.

At the worst I'd have 20K baht (or the equivalent in another currency) in cash and possibly proof of onward travel in 60-90 days. Just in case you're asked.

Yeah I figured... I have onward travel booked to my home country within 90 days so hopefully that plus some cash will make it all good.
