Hello! I’ve just googled and seen the immigration office is closed at the weekend. Does anyone know if it’s also closed on New Year’s Day (Monday 1st?).

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired if the immigration office is closed on New Year's Day, and comments confirmed that it will be closed on December 29 and January 1, with the next opening on January 2. It was also noted that immigration offices are closed on weekends and a reminder for the regular procedure of obtaining a 30-day extension of stay was provided.

I believe that the OP has the answers needed for her question.

We wish her success in obtaining the 30 day extension of stay.

This is your post of December 3rd...

Arriving into Thailand December 4th

Would be stamped in for 30 days...

Ending Tuesday January 2nd.

Be sure to Go to Thai Immigration office for the 30 day extension of stay.

And be sure to have a TM30 address registration on file with Thai Immigration.

These are the common found requirements for the 30 days extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office

Open next Tuesday but suspect most, especially in Bangkok and tourist areas, will be rammed to the rafters.
