I sucessfully recieved my 1st 1 year extension of stay based on retirement last Monday at Laem Ngop office Trat. It was a great experience, in and out within 1 hour. Thanks to members of this group for the help. One of the requirements was to provide pictures of me at my residence. Yesterday morning my girlfriend , who owns the property got a call from the tourist police to say they were coming to do an inspection on my residence at the property. All great, very polite and no issues. Forms filled in and pictures taken with the official and me and my partner in the same rooms provided with the application. Just thought it worth bringing to the attention of group members that they can and do check sometimes. Cheers.
