Are police clearances now required every 3 months for Ed visa extensions in Thailand?

As long as you don't commit a crime in Thailand,what's the problem? It's only 100 baht

If you are from one of the following countries it is now a requirement to get a new one every 3 months:

 Iran

 Iraq

 Lebanon

 Liberia

 Libya

 Sierra Leone

 South Africa

 Sri Lanka

As you have been on an Ed visa/extension since 2019, I would just go with the flow and get a new clearance.
