Background: I am employed since March 2024, but for technical reasons, the company I am working for was only able to hire me as a full-time service worker in 2024. This means, in 2024, my company required me to write them invoices and they paid me my monthly salary based upon these invoices. Therefore, I do not have any payslips for 2024, but my bank statement shows the monthly salary transfer.

I am receiving my first salary with a payslip this month in January 2025.

How to deal with this situation when applying? Any suggestions welcome!

I have just been asked to supply proof of paid invoices from clients as a contract freelancer (which were within the 6 month bank statement I provided) Having now submitted them I am wondering what the turn around time is for the visa to be accepted? I submitted initial application Tuesday 11am and receive this request at 4pm today. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Hey everyone! Just sharing for freelancers who are unsure of what to submit for the financial supporting documents. Besides the normal requirements along with my portfolio (PDF with tearsheets/photos), I submitted:

1. A few bank statements showing over the 500k (or more! As much as you can, I guess) sitting in the account for more than 3 months -- I highlighted the amount and the months to prove that.

2. Invoices to clients with screenshots of the bank showing the money being paid.

Applied online from Cambodia on Oct 28th, received approval this morning (Nov 11).

Took a while, but it all went through.
