Hi same Indian guy from yesterday. Today my company said to me that, old work permits can be renewed but labour dept is not issuing new work permit. They are only allowing Laos, Myanmar and cambodia

I am English. I got a 2 year extension of stay and WP renewal last Friday. I was speaking to other nationalities. Like we said last night. Problem not with MoL or Immigration

I've heard some companies won't want to use their time and resources to do work permits at times. Tread carefully and see if you can get them to take some action.

Some companies use internal staff for what is straightforward work. Then others use agents. If you need the resource there is no waste of time.
