TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether Airbnb reservations can be used for their Thailand visa application. Responses indicate that Airbnb bookings may be acceptable, but some advice suggests ensuring you obtain a TM30 form from the property owner. Additionally, for the DTV visa application, it is mentioned that providing a major hotel name suffices without needing formal hotel confirmation.

For the DTV visa application you don’t need to provide any hotel confirmation, you just enter a hotel name where you plan to stay. Put a major hotel name, done.

I guess so but I suspect you will need to get a TM30 from the owner!

If you are not in Thailand and haven't checked in yet, how can they register your TM.30?

I didn't say they need a tm30 to check in too, I mean the owner of the house can do tm.30 after guests checked in.
