Hi guys, thanks for the add. Coming April I will arrive in Bangkok to participate in an internship with a Thai company for 12 weeks.

However, the Belgian embassy brought to my attention that one of the new ED-visa requirements is now a proof of stay for the entire duration. This would mean booking a 12 week stay in advance, in times of high uncertainty of actually being able to enter Thailand by the time it's April.

I asked them if providing sufficient proof of the ability to book a 12 week stay is okay, and they refused. Is this seriously my only option? Could I opt for booking something for visa applying purpose, and cancel after? Any advise here?
