Hey I am currently on a 30 day visa and would kindly ask a question (I did research on this group too but there is so much different cases for people from different countries)

I would like to extend my visa. I am not sure what is the best option as I am planning to go to Pai in a few days. Is there an embassy where I can extend my visa. I am not so keen on doing a stressy border bounce (but would consider it if it's the better option)

Or I could maybe make it to the Chiang Mai embassy would that be better than the one in Pai?

What do I need to bring to the Embassy?

And is it right that the maximum extension is gonna be for 30 more days and costs 1900 THB. And I can go straight away to the Embassy don't need to wait until my 30 days visa expires on the 2nd of October?

Last month I entered Thailand with a 2 month tourist visa. But I had to get a new passport from the us. Embassy In Chiang mai. Now i am at the immigration office in Chiang Rai because i need my stamp in my new passport. Do I have to pay for a new stamp? And there saying I should just do a border run but I have a letter from the embassy requesting the new stamp. What should I do?
