Just had my 90 day Visa approved online at the Thai Embassy London. Online form was very simple and the cost was £60.00. It did take two weeks to approve though. Will having this make it easier to open a bank account and what other supporting documents would I need?

Good day every one. I would like to ask, I applied for my non Ed visa and did police clearance on the 6th of February. I've read all over that it can take between 10 and 15 days for the clearance to be completed. But now it's been 20 days for me. My question is, how long did it take for you guys to receive your clearance?

A question for Tod Daniels please.

I'm completing the documentation to have my non-imm O extended for being over 50 years old and am reviewing your notes on how to prepare and am looking at the 'Statement' in the 'three secret forms' and have a question.

You describe the 'Statement' as 'basically a self guarantee', does that mean that I fill in, with my details, in both the subject fields and the guarantor fields? So I'm guaranteeing myself?

Sounds crazy, hence my question.

Or do I need a different person to act as guarantor for me, which is more logical but not ' a self guarantee,' as you describe it.

Thanks in advance.
